Time Confusion X2a

Hi all,

I may be imagining this but I will practically swear that in the "Step Record" window in Track view and in the "Note Properties" in Piano Roll view I used to be able to see M:B:T in the time box instead of H:M:S:F. Now all is see in those windows is H:M:S:F. I know I must have hit some button somewhere to change this but cannot find where. I've changed the time display in Track View, I've gone into Prefs>Project>Clock and tried different settings. Nothing is working. Did I imagine that I could see M:B:T in those windows? I'm beginning to think so. HELP! This is making cutting and pasting difficult.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

This has been vexing me for some time and I have found the solution.

Somehow in Prefs>Customization>Display, the setting for "Display all times as SMPTE" was checked. When I unchecked it I got my M:B:Ts back where I wanted them.

I hope this helps someone else. It was driving me crazy.

    Thanks!

Sorry I had missed seeing your post - I had recent experience with this setting and would have advised.

Glad you have it working per your needs.
