Time Will Tell (78 yr old songwriter)

A new song written by Mr. Lee Dobbs, (78 yrs old owner of Dobbs BBQ, in Dothan, Alabama...)
featuring local legends, Mitch Goodson & Dave Adkins...
Mr Dobbs said "if no one wanted to buy the song, at least we could play it at his funeral..."
I suspect that won't be anytime soon...

"Time Will Tell"

Such a  beautiful, pristine recording.  The words are poignant and so true.  Frank, you really nailed this one on the head.  Your friend should be very happy.

Thanks Lynn for the very nice feedback... Mr, Dobbs is a big fan of traditional country music, and I think he really appreciated the treatment we gave to his first original song...

Thanks Herb... The project paid well, and the client was very happy... but you are so right,  the formula has changed... there are still a lot of fan's of this genre, but as nature would have it, they are dying out...

Thanks Mark... I'm glad you approve... I'd imagine some folks on this forum may not care for the genre, which is fine, but I hope they appreciate the historical context, if nothing else...

I listened to this yesterday and it sounded just as good as it does today.
And, tommorrow it will probably sound just as good as yesterday which will obviously be today.
At this point, I imagine it's future proof.

G'day again Frank, I caught this getting posted during the week, but, didn't get a chance to come listen. Well, what can I say.. clever lyrics?.. Nicely put to music. I heard a familiar run near the beginning, behind closed doors?. :) Nice job, as I would expect having heard your other work.

    Cheers,

    Hey, Frank,

Fantastic job on this true traditional country-western song!

Mr. Dobbs is really quite the songwriter, all of the performances are excellent, and the recording, mixing and production is absolutely top notch.

Pro production all the way around, nice one, Frank!
