Excellent!  Vocal's are stunning.  Mix sounds really good to my ears.

Now there's a vocal I can understand

Absolutely amazing vocal performance.  It's difficult doing an intimate vocal like this and she definately knocked it out of the park!  My compliments to Mrs. Daryl!

Mr. and Mrs. Daryl,

I listened to this earlier today on my work laptop, which is has the worst sounding speakers in the world, and it sounded great...I'm listening again on the regular computer and, not surprisingly, it sounds even better.

Wonderful job, both of you. Just beautiful.

I might be mad or something but have you changed the violins to a mellotron - anyway now it sounds good really good.

Rich - thanks - she is also British but is bilingual and knows more American than I do - that'll explain that :)

Tim - thanks for saying that mate - I really appreciate it

Gary - thanks for the extra listen - she did do a great job - I'll pass on the compliment.

Eko -  I didn't change anything but that's what I was going for - I don't really have any decent decent string sims. Thanks for the extra listen.

Freddy - thank you very much - I appreciate it - I will pass it on to my better half

performances are absolutely incredible!  love the vocals, love the piano.  fantastic!

there's some distortion throughout, tho.  example:  0:58, 3:19 (there are others, those are just the most noticable).  not sure what's causing it, maybe in the vocal track(s)  you've got a delay on the vocals (pretty heavy delay) - I don't know if that's a plugin or if you've cloned/delayed them.  I think the distortion is somewhere in the mix of the main vocal and the delay.

great job, daryl and Mrs. Daryl!  love this!

of course not - I ate it all!

I'm sure I'm hearing the distortion - tho it is very light.  I'm sure it's not my system.  if you don't hear it or aren't worried about it - then take my advice with a grain of becan!  no worries my friend.

That is a very nice chorus line! She does sing very nice. Nice simple and relaxing production.

Ok your woman can sing Daryl but I don't know if the track is doing her voice any justice.  It sounds like the wrong key for her voice, too low.  Def when she goes into her upper registar it sounds much sweeter.

Peace Ben

Ben - you know what, I agree with you 100% mate - I judged the song key from her top note in the chorus and worked backwards (if you know what I mean) - her vocal sweet spot is in the higher register. I much prefer her singing in The First Time Ever.....which I posted on here - it suits her voice better. She was determined to record this song and there was no way I was going to try and stop a determined woman :)
