    Cjay,

When I first logged into the forums, I thought hey their are alot of Bombastic people in here. But After A while I thought, hey these guys (some) aint that bad. Listened to some of your music Cjay. I must say that you are quite talented and skilful at what you do. Though Marilyn is not a personal hero of mine. I was thinking if you did a track similar to the hills are alive!

Yep, that's been proven once or twice, I really don't see why some people get so offended, he just tries to get straight to the point, I get cranky sometimes too when your trying to help someone, and have to repeatedly ask what their soundcard and computer specs are. Plus he did a Marilyn Manson cover, what's not to like?

Why don't y'all just ask the Bakers to rename this forum to "CJ's Place"? I'm really sick of that CJ-left-CJ-right-CJ-centre. Worse than the Reaper fanboys...

It's attitudes like that, that don't get recognition like this. Cjay has for some reason gotten a lot of crap from some users, and deserves a nice round of applause for being a dedicated and helpful Sonatarian. So to your jealousy.

Jealousy? Jealousy, my a$$! CJ has gotten a lot of crap because he gave others a lot of crap, and that's a fact!

Helpful? About half of his advice is misleading or outright wrong. There was a (admittedly short) time where I'd follow his posts and try to clean up the mess. Gave up on it pretty fast though. Often he won't even read the complete question before replying - let alone understand it.

And don't get me started on rudeness, insults, picking fights.

Some of the really cool people don't even post in here as often as they used to - wonder why that is?! The noise in this forum has reached a level lately that's painful, and not due to noobs' questions.

If you disagree, that's fine. But don't make ridiculous assumptions about my motives, will ya? Eh, stuff it... do whatever you want! And now excuse me, I'll at least try to enjoy the rest of my pizza.

I'm with Werner on this too. CJ is the only member I constantly have on block simply because his posts are too hard to read, what with the literacy issues, rudeness and, at times, outright hostility.

I'm with Werner on this too.

Thanks, Steve! It feels good to know that it's not just me.

This was once a cool place. I remember, when I started out I learned a lot from just reading and reading here. Later I learned even more by helping others. If I came in here these days as a bloody noob again, I can't help the impression that I'd be really confused. So much noise, so much confusion... With the (little) knowledge and experience I've gained so far, it's easy to distinguish good and bad info most of the time. But as a newbie I guess I'd feel pretty lost here.

Maybe we need a new name1432, eh? So we can all pull on the same side of the rope? Though this time it might end with closing down the whole Sonar forum... Ah, those where the days. Anyway I'm ramblin now...

Sorry to you folks! I lost my temper instead of just shaking my head and moving on - like I usually do. But sometimes enough is enough. Oh well...

    Take care all!

Unfortunately I came to the same conclusion. CJ could be nice and helpful but the constant and sometimes explosive attitude was too much. It's a free country and forum and I am not against CJ posting...I've just had to block him(cue the parental controls TV commercial here)

Yeah I always figured the whole name1432/GubieLubie thing was perpetrated by someone who is still on this forum. No matter though, they don't seem to be spewing the hate, so that's good. And they did bring about the Block feature, which is very cool. And, best of all, it spurred Jeff (GHIJKMNOP) to start up The Other Place Forum which most of the Sonar Coffee Housers still hang out at and have put 2 CD sets out labelled as The Exile Collection (LOL, get it? exiles? haha). Every cloud can have a silver lining

Absolutely! Maybe I should return to The Other Place... Didn't like it that much there in the beginning tbh, so I signed off. Guess that things have settled some in the meantime. Any Experimental Electronics musicians around there?
