To Crafty re SB Live External

See my latest reply/post on your SB Live External thread at this forum. It has got my correct E-mail address. By the way, on SB Live the sound samples (called "soundfonts") are get loaded from your hard drive (or CD or wherever you keep them) and go into your computer's memory where they are triggered when you play your keyboard. I suppose that such "borrowing" of your computer memory eliminates the need for memory on the sound card and hence SB Live is very inexpensive yet very powerful. P.S. for "live" playing / practicing, your SB Live External comes with a little Soundfont library program. I forget what it is called. You'll find it among the other Creative programs after you click "start" and then "programs" on your desktop. There, you just select and click the soundfont you want to play and play your keyboard and get your sound without having to set up a track in Cakewalk for such simple live playing or practicing. --Chris.
