This is the one I have. I paid $180 for it and it sounds fine to me. I thought I paid more. Anyway, get the store to set the intonation and string height etc before you take it home.

    Thanks Bill....good point on getting them to set it up before taking It home.
    That's about the price range I was thinking as well....although I haven't completely made up my mind, I've been thinking about the Ibanez gsrm20 short scale bass.
     
    A few weeks back, I made a quick stop at Sam Ashe and played one......felt pretty good and sounded very nice. I'll still be checking out a few more and spend some time at the music shop.

    You'll be happy you did. There's no replacement for the real thing! I mean there's never a Bapu when you need juan!

    I tried to find before but I was referred to a tree that turned out to be my bass player but now I think the tree was mentioned because he likes monkeys. Now I do too
