To the Good Great People in PC Daw MS land.

Hello all.

Not saying too much in this forum...this time round.

MS remote viewing of Event viewer and errors and warnings and such...could not be resolved by tier 2 tech support.

Although they have tried to do so...the system is now said needs the new 1607 build to solve the issues hidden and or not able to resolve by them or others...Others saying they are not MS supporting to fix MS issues...So we went to MS to fix issues updates caused!

Now...they want me to update this to the next...because they tried to migrate the os to the new one...but it would not install as done....A complete wipe out is now necessary to move to the new build 1607////with my new gear...not working right as is.

And as I am kind of new to cake walk...trying since windows 7 to get this or other machines to work right...but never getting that.....And I walked in many techs and had em even install things ....paid of course....costing lots!....I imagine this sort of update plan and pay for to go on for some time with MS and others....SO ....

Is it really the gear?
The users of , and finding bugs or not working right as should...and oddities of missing this or that, and hangs....truly a system of bad drivers, bad installs...of which the installer does do....or putting things over written too much...to many times over a period, that causes services and hardware to fail in such a manner....That it is impossible to get anything done musically with PC MS and applications.......?

You be the Judge.

MS said it in the chat box....It is impossible to fix it so no updates are not needed.

That in essence is a constant fixing...to be paid to....fix what the updates do do ...if it was working...then not after...or it was kind of working then not....or if it was working with work arounds...and now those no longer work because of Updates.....and so on.....And you have projects that do not open right...or do not play back...because something altared the setup of device or management of device and driver or codex has changed to allow for direct x 12...and you now have issues with audio or applications for in and on MS os....They cannot fix the system...as it is designed to fail to gain money.

That being said....I must now reinstall...sorry...install 1607 from dvd, as it will not migrate by MS Tech doing it...when it should do it.

THis has boggled them...to tell me to take my machine....And we got two down!
X99....
To a MS store and have them fix it.

Freak me out.

This is nuts!

Now how can anyone code for this crap?

Best of the day to you all....

cheers.

I have no idea which problem you have, but like 10 years ago my decision was:
1) never Asus again
2) nothing from "LG" get into my computers.

Also in your signature you do not put the PSU specification nor 970 GTX producer. These 2 components can drive your computer and you crazy...

Sonar 8LE -> Platinum infinity, REAPER, Windows 10 pro
GA-EP35-DS3L, E7500, 4GB, GTX 1050 Ti, 2x500GB
RME Babyface Pro (M-Audio Audiophile Firewire/410, VS-20), Kawai CN43, TD-11, Roland A500S, Akai MPK Mini, Keystation Pro, etc.

Well let us say EVGA g2 850 watt...you see LG in the discription on mine?...Asus..is good enough...?
Strix gpu nvidia 970...good enough or over speced to make it work?...on MS with CKWK or other Products of mention not...but have many DAWs...and apps for Music to do what some cannot do...and they were working until...updates of automatic nature forced to shut down...to install noted did do...to this..and I had MS fix some of that, because they did not install as supposed to...which brought all this to a good stop and hack and track and read, and look into, and ask and get mocked and la la la la...same old same old...pay techs to not fix it....because I cannot as I am not skilled to do code or regedits, or other things....Surely not plug and play...for some...Sorry of my skill sets...of misinformation...if so, ...

But that should clear me of wrong doings here as Pilot error is not me this time round...it is them!

Wink!.

Let me add the APC power conditioning backup PSU of battery backup is UPS or cyberlink 15000...for that bad day of power spikes...solved for also....so when it is solved?.
You have suggestions....I will listen...but it will make no difference if all this is thorted soon after installing it...paid of offered is up to whom?

That is the cash cow marketing....You bought the wrong things..to do what you are doing?...well I guess you got piles of cards and motherboards on a burn out table like me then....Who is the sucker there?...and wouldn't you be unfortunate if so building such a table to know what is good or not?...and the cost?...and the efforts put to find reason for....

If LG is Logitech...let me know...as LG is a brand of....Electronic...Let us not mislead with short letterings....I might take that as LG.

But if and I say If, a mouse of my liking is causing all this...and I believe it is using Windows mouse drivers, as I have not put in the application for....I will gladly change it, and have done so in past to a generic Mouse....of MS low quality peace of crap...Just to prove it was not my mouse doing it...and MIke Knows it is a os system problem....of Cake walk tech support...not mouse at all...Nic card or onboard Gigabit...and other things of services trying to send out info...but the nic is not being detected in MS os...so error after error is being logged...when trying to...which is upsetting the cpu and memory and caching ...sizes...sending warnings into event viewer....that makes hickups in cpu irq requests....

Be mindful....I got that part pure right!

Les I don't mean to be disrespectful but can't tell if you are looking for help (in which case ask a more concise question - please).
As for Windows 10, 1607 is the "Anniversary Update", and there have been several patches to it that have both broken and 'fixed' it. However the current and last few builds have been working well here with SPlat. More with W10 than any previous version, the need to stay current on updates is critical, IMO.

Re: To the Good Great People in PC Daw MS land. 2017/01/19 11:03:58 (permalink)
Now back to what is causing this....it has to my knowledge goes way back to win 95 and some application put into the os to trace or track or back door put into the OS, to gain access to the system being put onto to run.

Spooling is also a irq requesting feature....to gain any info from said installed on system of text, typing, or data being stored on or in same system...and perhaps now with tech being constantly updated to worm into networks and infect or gain access to those same back doors...to do what ever is being done...if...not able to send out...how big does the hidden folder get?.....

That is what is happening Here.

Not able to remove or fix....because the nic willnot  allow it to do it....?....hmmm.

that is what they have been trying to fix here.

So, they said...it is not able to be fixed in this installation of win 10 15xx build..and I said that tech tried without me saying it was ok...to migrate to 1607...she ran the installer....I thought she was going to use the tools there in....but not able to install as a code error popped up...

Did that tech save any of the doings to my desktop as asked before doing anything?...nope!....again I said it many times in our chat...before the final reboot of the system and she or he ended our remote view...with two options.....

take it to the MS store...or wipe out and reinstall the new 1607 from dvd.

This has been said before in win 7 by tech tier 2 support person...to win 8.1...then 10 first rendering...until they have no more updates for...so I have to move to the next one....how many moves?...and pay...and pray?

I am asking You Aslow3 to answer with something better.

Thanks buddy Brando for a go ahead on 1607...I fear my effort to install all this stuff is going to take me lots of time again.

You understand...if it is not working right...I do not back up bugs...so no back up...Thank God for , I do not make this my working paid employment fort music making.

If you seek why my post is not seeking a solution....is because there are none at this time for my build....

and how many are thinking to go to this mayhem?....and as I know you are a good soul as is Aslow3 and others....

This is a MS thing...I just wanted you all to know...gear is not the issue....OS is.

And how can Cakewalk or any other app baker bake in this patch...and pay to fix constant.

I truly hope you are right in what you say...because I am freaking fed up!

Again to those who are using this sort to make your bread and butter....be mindful...I only am saying from my experiences so far...not good...and some here seeking help for.

Is all I wish to convey to some seeking bliss with.

I am unclear as to what your specific problem is, Les. Are we talking about the issue of certain plugins crashing SONAR when you insert them? That's the only recent Windows-related issue I can think of. If so, that problem has been resolved. At least, no one's reported that it still happens under the current build.

It sounds, though, like you may have other ongoing problems. The more specific you can be, the better. Rants are OK, we all need to unload from time to time. But the best you're going to get from a rant is a little sympathy - not much actual help.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Re: To the Good Great People in PC Daw MS land. 2017/01/19 12:27:37 (permalink)
Now I said I would seek the horse/MS who is causing this not only for me...And I did do as I said I would do.

It is not going to be fixed any time soon..if so is as is above said and deployed.

Mac is no angel either , and trace and track are no doubt in some form doing same old same old...and , if it be a consolation to anyone....It does not effect my apps at all on MAC PRO...although it cost more so...I find I have more works to do, and get em done with...in doing with the mac at this time...so, why is it PC is not?...and I only have one answer...OS.

So, if anyone be seeking a newer sound card, or getting the best gear....if Putting it on a PC with MS oses...It is a task...and some may find that bliss with.

Yet if you are not finding it, and seeking a way....it will work if you get it working, turn off the internet and auto updates so it should not sabotage your settings or setup.

As they have done too many times here....It can happen to you.

If noise pops clicks and hangs be you experience.....It is background services doing what they do, interupting cpu and or memory or caching spooled info and sending while you work.//latency problems when none were before updating?...got that people?

That said....Prove me wrong?...I got techs said I am right!

Best of the New...out with the old?...

I say Cheers...and pick the best one to do the best for..in Good tidings!

That is my offerings to these fine folks who make Magic happen with Music!

Got to inform Cake walk tech Mike Now....as I said I would keep him informed....and all of you with my findings!

Re: To the Good Great People in PC Daw MS land. 2017/01/19 12:38:50 (permalink)
Hay bitflipper...It is not clear?...MS is Microsoft...win 10 or below is not working with any of the gear I bought new or older...builds of i7 of asus...and or intel 6 core or more..4 also...and firewire, or usb for most I tried Motu...and others on or with win7...and m powered avid and onwards to others...still no glory...and I got Motu again...828x thunderbolt to over ride the firewire or usb...direct is best...eh?

So, not sure what new gear if told to buy one should..if not doing as asked...I did do.

Clear is unclear...only because you may have all working?...are you sure it will continue to do so?.

That is where I fell into the whole buy buy buy.....fix fix fix reality of muse with MS and so on.

If they cannot make it work...as said on this build or the below ones ever....what confidence is with the now stated...1607 build is it is patched up to look like it works...or is it working?....too late?...

Well fed up is fed up....I moved to MAC..does it matter if unclear is your domain?..nope ...Just saying it to those who want to know...seek it out...find it, or not....could be random to selected few who bash and bother them MS people perhaps?

But I paid for all in good faith...perhaps that is the problem with PC....it may be cheaper at first glance in price off the shelf or building...But MS makes it cost more.

in the end that table of burnt out gear!

clear enough?

MSI sli x99 is dead right now with unable to boot to win 10....and that is using focusrite pro 40...windows 10 auto updates...and ati...video card driver did that.

Fed up is not a good word?...does it confuse ?...Pissed off is best then said out loud!
But it aint something to piss off anyone here...Just saying...as it is long to say, perhaps not the best way said was first put!

Hey there, Les - I am VERY VERY sorry you have had such a crazy horrific ride for a long long time, trying to get all of your stuff to work.

I TRULY do not understand why your computer gear has such a 'Kick Me' sign on it.

I know I spent a bunch of time with you, going back I believe as much as a couple of years, and you and both put in quite a lot of time working to get through a bunch of stuff.

If it is of any consolation to you - if it were to help you, and not too pricey to ship to you, the next time I create a new computer build for myself - I would give serious consideration to just giving you my old computer (which is my current one now), as I know it all works well on this one.  I KNOW you have worked hard and for a long time, to get your computer's situation stable and able to run Sonar successfully and stably.  This computer has an AMD A-10 7850 CPU, 32 GB of memory, and multiple hard drives (even a solid-state C: drive), and should fit the bill for your needs - even if by that time in a year or so my current computer would still be viable.

Hey Sir Les. Apple Care covers Apple professional apps like Logic. It wasn't cheap for rMBP but covered 3 years and the phone support was great. If your like me and want to talk to the source if issues arise you may want to look into it. The Apple support forums are ok. Cakes forums are much more lively though. Apple Care is one of the reasons I'd be willing to pay premiums for another Apple computer again.

I really can't tell what the issue is because some of the language makes no sense. I'm almost thinking Les is using a program for language conversion. If that's true it could explain a lot.

Yes agreed, I'm sorry I can't offer assistance either as your posts have always been near to impossible to read.

I just gave it a good go and came away with, your system doesn't work. And looking at your specs, it should work.
So this forum and it's super helpful , talented all knowing members can fix your problem. \\\If the problem is identified.

I can theorize that the mind that writes text of this nature and is seeking help and getting nowhere then this is a simple matter of lack of communication.

Here's what to do.
In ONE paragraph describe your problem. Actually I'm being generous, Try ONE sentence.

Les, last time I called MS tech support was to find out if I needed to buy Windows 10 if I wanted to dual boot Windows 7 instead of upgrading. After a confusing conversation I was pretty sure it would be possible if I bought the upgrade. So I bought it along with a new SSD for Windows 10. Then during install I called them back to make sure I was doing the install correct because it was confusing when it looked like it was ready to install but had not asked me where to install it. They told me they could not help because they wouldn't support dual boot. They were of no help. I went ahead and did the install which finally did ask me where it install Windows 10. Anyways, all went well and worked out. I like windows 10. Nice OS. Needs work if they want to compete with OS X in my opinion. All the built in apps like Pictures and Groove Player seem lacking in features. Plus I didn't like some of the advertising stuff in tiles and notification center. I know you can remove the tiles but still. And notification center constantly wants me to upgrade to the latest version of office.

Yeah Google translate is what I first thought. Definitely a language barrier here and that's what's causing all the confusion.

I always pictured Les as a cross between Yoda and a Buddhist. I kind of feel what he is saying more than understanding all the specific details. :)

Sir Les
So far..very good luck...But, if I have a heart of pure ...I may make a contest for the remnants of PC, to hopefuls with Cakewalk to render up a gift of some of...if they can make the inereds work with a os of little choice other than linux or Hackintosh.......

Or I may just sell the parts....to regain some dosh wasted.

I am not feeling the Love so clear in the air ...I may change my mind of, if enough read into the musing with,...as I care not, what is truly witnessed by those unclear,..those who tried to help...Thanks You, you are a special Breed....keep on keeping on...trying to solve for x...in a undermining reality....I had enough!.

Cheers!

Cheers, Sir Les,
see you tomorrow!

I would recommend writing your problem out in French and then using Google translate to convert to English. Your English isn't understandable.

Bob Bone

Hay Bob....Yah sorry for the futile waste of your time...I am so sorry for all that wonderful work you and Alex tried so hard to help me...I say I bless you and him more so today...and others who put in the time...and efforts I followed and tried even hard to explain...it just is my connection...it is me...I am cursed with a back door ISP...and it seems it is instilled in the OS...I have been silently trying to root out the causes of my cpu spiking, and other issues...while trying to record lots of tracks at once....
That with cake walk seemed to be kind of working...yet work arounds were instilled through finding some error in driver holding or finding...once I got things finally tweaked...But that did not last long, because of as the above mentioned....UPDATES....Freaking updates...alway updates...and then more to get what is, updated installed on also to work with....And so on...it is too much work to update every freaking plug in, and app, and driver, and firmware, and so on...every freaken month and cross the fingers hoping the work around is fixed....Nope it get worse.

But the giving help, and spirit of wanting to help others....That is special...and thank you all who do this ever day....at any hour of.....It truly has been a experience worth holding as best part of.

Isn't that what Life is truly about?...Screw the machine, and cost put in or efforts...Its people liken these I post about...I want to say thanks to...And You Bob...don't wast too much time away from making that music, by staying in a zone that is never truly silent of issues.

I am sure you seen a lot of...and helped many....

Again thanks.

My allen and heath zed boards work fine on the MAC PRO...Bit of pilot error getting to know how to, as I was PC for many years never touching MAC...I know moot about em...But, I got it going, setup installed made a raid...and did some maitence to fix Raid aray on MAC...took a bit, not the same animal or process...But now that is solved...everything works...No auto updates forced...internet works...might have issues with chrome...But safari plays video fine, and audio streaming over, So I can take my lessons on Mastering and mixing..and do it.

That is the best news I got....It works now on this...And no troubles yet...As of that firmware update...Holding off on the next OS for MAC as this one is working ok....

Thanks again, and again for being there...and a open mind....this stuff is on the net...You can google all the problems now running a muck in the world of....INTERNET...and OS, and MS...on Youtube....Hackers and coders are saying how bumbed they are about this spy stuff, and ill willed services you cannot defeat...even if it says you have em turned off in the setting pain......They are not off at all....and bing is sending ...and opening up when it is not default, was at times confusing...or it was confused of my settings to chrome being default..and help files opening edge..should not take place....well I think they tried to update that also...haven't seen it of today, in my remote view with OS MS tech trying to look into ...many things, and not finding resolve....If they cannot resolve what they did do to this to cause so many errors constantly being written to event viewer...How the hell am I supposed to?

That is not right...and I did not agree to cyber wars, or sabotage, of my systems in any Agreements.

So...if I am finding spying going on...it is because it is being revealed to me...if others are saying same thing as I am....Something ain't right.

If pointing the finger at Russia now, is going to start a war of mass murder over stuff liken this...I would rather Not support any more Builds or use there of <MS>...I think, if you value Life...listen to what OBAMA did to Russia for saying they were spying...Are now being oppressed by that Obama....Yet I know, and others, back doors into unsuspecting users machines can and have been found to launch such attacks if OS is employed on a machine...to gain access to many machines...and make anyone look like it was coming from their machine...or IP...Or ISP....and if I am right, and all things are being logged spooled and sent to some bing server...Then Hilary Clintons emails are not totally erased.....Hence, there are ways to find out...But who is behind the fbi...not looking in the right places where that info no doubt is stored by MS or other email tracers, now on a bing server of?....Home land security>.... is MOOT if that not be sought out and found!

That being said...My ISP went down yesterday,,,,the day before, I and my ranting to MS TECH took place warning them of what I know is going on on my system.

So...shut down LES?....nope!...today early...I went back for more fun with em...and they could not solve the same error codes....which should have been solve the day before...that ISP crash...Oh I was asked what ISP i USE and where is MY location....I told her CANAAN DA....and Gave her POSTAL...She asked for my address....I said what does this have to do with event viewer errors.....then she wanted me to log into my  router...again I told her what does this have to do with gigabit driver not working, yet is working?.

See...odd things are happening here....And it ain't me doing it?...well, I guess I am leading a revolt,...or found a truth some do not want to go on to others ears.....But as My isp, is well equipped to handle things with great tech support....They got it working in a few hours...and...called me to let me know.

Wow...So, no matter if internet goes down....got a million providers to call...and regain a connection, not to mention bbs and mirc eh?...

So not silenced for long....Now Bob...go find out if I am wrong...and you may if needs be, Take a good rest from this troubleshooting mess.....I will give you if you want....Let me know....I got PM here...use it!...I see friends also need!

I already Passed some tests of spirit, that go beyond your words RSMCGuitar...So, if you feel my language is faulty...I said I mean no one ill will....I only exposed a error in finding since windows 95 and explorer put into a OS that had to be default.....And I still see the war on or with some of something liken, but bing...is tied now to other os services...So Edge is in part tied, yet does not have to be...and still bing sends out info....interesting truth!

If it need be put in french for yah....You know where I am....then you know what I said is true!...CANAAN DA...is a Promise!.
