Today is the day....

....back in 1957 when Paul McCartney first met John Lennon and impressed him by playing "Twenty Flight Rock" (Eddie Cochran) and "Be-Bop-A-Lula" (Gene Vincent) at The Woolton Church Parish Fete. Needless to say, Lennon was impressed, but moreso with McCartney's ability to actually tune a guitar......apparently, Lennon was paying someone to do this.
You would think that tuning a guitar would've been the 1st thing someone learned (especially back in the day....) before you started playing with any other musician, but it's interestingly amusing that Lennon didn't know how to do this.
