@ Muskee...no don't re-install. Go to XLN's site, log in your account, put the AD2 Serial # from Cake into the XLN product key to register a product. You will be then able to scroll down and choose new stuff. My guess is that you will be able to add new sets as they come ---seeing how you have everything already. THen run the XLN installer/update and you can get your new, cool stuff.

Are there any plans to update the misnamed Command Center? I have to say this is by far the worst download manager I could ever imagine. Why? Let me count the ways: 1) Why does the Command Center open with Internet Explorer despite the fact that Firefox is my default browser? 1a) And why is there no way to correct this in the laughable Settings section? 2) Why is there no way to pause and restart the download if necessary? 3) Customizable download paths anyone? 4) Why is Command Center apparently unable to scan my system, see what I have, and only download the latest versions of stuff? I could go on but I think I've made my point. I DESPISE Internet Explorer and NEVER use it. Why am I unable to use the browser I prefer? I sometimes need to pause downloads due to doing other (sometimes with other devices) that can bog down the speed for everyone. If I stop a download for any reason (by exiting Command Center - since there is no other way) I am forced to start the download over from scratch. Ridiculous. Others have mentioned the issues with customizable download paths and lack of the ability to scan the system to see what's already loaded so I'll just add my confusion over why these seemingly basic downloading features are not possible to the mix. I hope my 12 months of indenture includes updates for the Command Center as well. Michael

I'm not sure I have this right Michael but on my computer Command Centre doesn't open in a browser, it's a stand alone app.

It may be stand alone, but clicking links for videos opens up IE. That makes me think the Command Center is accessing the web through IE. And no way to change this behavior, as the Command Center Settings section is really quite a joke.

Thanks for the clarification John. No worries since I'm not all that interested in the videos anyway (although having to click each download individually makes me aware of why they needed to post the distraction). My other points remain.

Muskee I already have the full standalone AD2 and all ADpaks except 4 of them.. should I install the AD2 that came with Platinum to collect 3 more ADpaks? Will this screw up my current installation?
Good question as I am in the same boat however I have installed them and now wondering what will happen if I uninstall AD2 from the CC.

Well, I tried entering the serial# in the register the product key box and got an error notice that "this product key does not exist." I've emailed XLN for assistance and am waiting for their response. I'll update, when they reply.

Okay jimbo.. back to thanking you for the tip! My mistake with registering the AD2 product was not realizing that the code I was entering was/is case sensitive.. Voila, that did it!

I just installed platinum and all went fine except I can't see my Melodyne editor? Sorry if I am in the wrong forum but I searched Melodyne and it brought me here? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

You access Melodyne through Region FX - select a clip and use the Region FX create command and the editor should appear in the Multidock. Sorry if you know this already but it's not clear from your post... Oh wait, it looks like you were using X3 before so likely know how it works. Did you install Melodyne through Command Center? I don't know how this process works as I have Editor which was installed with X3 and then it just appeared normally when I fired up Platinum. Did this not happen for you? Strange...
