Toggle "Take Lanes" Off COMPLETELY!!!!

I would like to be able to toggle "Take Lanes" completely off,  especially when doing midi loop recording.   It's really completely unnecessary and cumbersome to work with take lanes.  It seems like a simple enough feature request since previous versions of Sonar didn't even have "Take Lanes".  Under "Loop Recording" there are only two options,  "Store Takes in a Single Track" and "Store Takes in Separate Tracks".   There is no option for disabling "Takes" completely.

When recording midi, adding an option to simply record into existing clips rather than creating new clips for every pass would be very useful. Only create a new clip if no clip exists. On the other hand, if you never open the take lanes on midi tracks and just bounce to clips periodically, it isn't that big of a deal. I merge clips like this, then split them by song section later.

I understand that you can work like that, but I still want to be able to toggle it completely off.

Voted. A "Disable Take Lane" button for each track would be even better for me.
