Yes, I would imagine it does. I have only known one person in 'real' life who was actually diagnosed bi-polar, and well, she had more problems than that, she was a fruitloop, but on the bi-polar side, it didn't look good, she was fine on medication, still very, well lets say 'quirky', but when she didn't take her medication it was a train wreck. I had a girlfriend who suffered from anxiety, and a bit of depression thrown in, and man that was hard, up one day down the next, you were the best thing ever today, tomorrow you were the worlds biggest A Hole, not to mention what effect it had directly on me, but just seeing what it done to her was heart wrenching, it was 'if you see kay' ing hard.
So you got another 2 weeks in the big house to look forward to ? if so, it's going to be tough not having a shower for 2 weeks ? Stay on your medication my friend, and I don't know what it's like, but if you feel yourself on a slide, reach out to friends, family, or even talk to someone here and see if that can help you through. With my ex, that was the plan, she made it, but it never seem to be able to put into practice in her case, because she either couldn't see it coming on, or just didn't reach out when she felt it coming on, and there was just nothing you could do once the ball started to roll, just get out of the way and hope for the best. That was the 2nd worst experience of my 51 years, the worst was another ex before her, ex heroin addict, alcoholic, depression, that was the worst, it would take a book to explain that one.
But all the best to you my friend, and remember, you are not alone, and don't be afraid to reach out if you need to.
