Tomorrow Beatlesish
This song was made to a Beatles festival and I chose to describe the life for the fab fours the time after their last live concert on Candlestick Park. I figure that they would play this for journalists after a few months hence the small crowd. My friend Jan sounds more like John than me so he sings the lead. This was very fun to do All comments are good comments. https://soundcloud.com/egon1/tomorrow Lyrics: Talk about the things that we will do tomorrow Isn't really what I'm here to do Instead of being buried in tons of sorrows We gotta get, out of this road George want to go to India so he can practice on a sitar Paul will go to Kenya to look at elephants from a car I will take part in a movie in Spain The life on stage was intolerable We didn't hear our thoughts The crowds scream was horrible We couldn't hear our self Everybody's talking about reunion And no one really know what to do I do not say it's a funeral But no one’s plan to put up a show Ringo went home to the country side and do occasionally calls My better half Yoko and I looking for a house in New York Never mind Paul at all he's left-handed you know Candle Stick Park was the end of the road The long and winding road Paul said to me we should do something White I told him we better Let It Be

What a clever tune... very, very cool production... I love everything about this, except the lead guitar solo, which could use some cleaning up... that said, I think it's outstanding...

what a creative homage to the fab 4- this is actually one of the coolest unique things i have heard in a long while. obviously you were/are an avid Beatles aficionado familiar with not only the vibe but the stylized instrumental/vocal delivery. as a true Beatles fan I applaud you for this big time. totally cool. thanks for the listen. great stuff and then some :) -Daren

well done guys. Nice homage to THE 4.... Really has the vibe. I think the guit solo needs a little work though.

Real good nick of the Beatles' post Candlestick sound. You've got that droning mellotron and Ringo's drum style & sound. The vocal even has some of John's dreamy quality. Pretty cool, I would say. Cheers, Bert

I really like the song, and performance is really good. My only question is, do you intend to sound like Weezer, or The Beatles? If Weezer, then its fine as it is. If the Beatles, then I would cut back on the bass a bit, and go a bit more low-fi on the Vox. And of the the drumming is heads and tails better than Ringo could ever do, but thats not a crit, though I find the one cymbal used near the end a bit harsh. Really, really good song.

LOL!!! I'm smiling ear to ear over here eko! Really nice job on everything. Freakin' production is huge man!! Agree on that droning mello...that was great! I like that this was a bit modern sounding though still authentic and a great homage. Smokin' stuff here! Great job! -Danny

Love it!!! I agree with Shad: make the vocal a little more mid-rangy for authenticity. I'd also suggest some heavy compression on the drum overheads and perhaps a transient shaper on the bass for a more McCartney-esque mellow thump.

Weezer is a fun and creative band with a somewhat retro song style yet a modern sound. My comparison to them was of that aspect, and not that you sound like them. Just wanted to make that clear. This is a very original song.

That is a cool tune. Creative and well done. It sounds like "The 4" themselves. Glad I stopped in to listen.
