Tonights lesson is.................

Check the pan control hasn't been moved away from centre on your mixers effects return bus *before* spending half the night attempting to re-program a multi effects unit and wondering why the pan on said unit isn't working.

Too long spent on this forum has fried my brain, obviously.........

I was just thinking to call FBB with some sage advice but it seems he eventually discovered the error of his ways (twice as fast as I would have).

That's when the trouble started, got me thinking about Deirdre and I've gone to pieces.

Still two lessons learnt - always, always, check the obvious, first and secondly, don't bother trying to run a duster between knobs on a mixer.

... don't bother trying to run a duster between knobs on a mixer.
I stopped, not because it didn't work, but because I kept getting paranoid so now it's canned air or nothing.

(Also, remember to recheck your slide faders if you ever have to babysit a neighbors cat... )

Ah yes cats!! I don't need the neighbours I've got my own. Very good at standing on EQ, buss send, & recording routing buttons.

Needless to say the studio door is now firmly shut...........
