Tony McManus - 'Sleeping Tune'

I've been learning this Gordon Duncan tune 'cos it's one of my daughter's favourites. Stumbled across this absolutely beautiful version the other day, just thought I'd share;

Nice duet of the same piece with Tommy Emmanuel;

    Got the tune 'under my fingers' Kenny, but mine will be a simple electric guitar/synth pad version. Can't play acoustic like that, I'm like a bear with a coconut

    James,

    if you happen to play that version of the tune for a Bear out in the woods w a coconut  ,
    I'm pretty sure once the bear hears the Bagpipes in the first section of the tune one of two things may happen …

    #1, He may find a very fast way to open that coconut.
    or
    #2, Bears may become the first animal in the evolution of Earth's History to enter the space program by launching a coconut into space

    In other news , I would be willing to bet that your Lester would sound great doing those parts
