Too difficult to explain-disregard-fixed. Please delete.

I have my songs so that Control D moves the song forward by one measure and Control W back (forwarD/reWind)--just always have and been doing it for years. On a recent song it was really sluggish and I couldn't figure out why. Tried bypassing plug-ins, etc. Finally figured it out-so simple. maybe obvious for someone but took me awhile.

it would be interesting to see if it has ever happened to anyone else.  I will wait for people in the States to wake up first and see if it has ever happened to anyone else.

I'm sorry,I should have never started the thread the way it did. I had a feeling it was stupid and it has been confirmed.  I couldn't fit what I wanted to say in the title area, and yes, stupid to make a guessing game out of it. I am also realizing that maybe some people don't have a hotkey to go one measure forward and one back like I think is very important to my workflow. What happened was on this particular song, the last time I worked on it I had a part looped about 100 measures in (TMI)--meaning when I opened up the project again, I navigated to the beginning of the song as was wondering why it kept skipping forward unsmoothly (new word-I'm tired)  when I tried to go one measure at a time.  like stuttering.  I would have never thought that would happen, found it so surprising. When I took loop of it was happy again to go one measure forward or backward. Sorry to make a game out it. Sorry if I pissed anybody off. My apologies. People waiting to eat dinner-11:00 pm.

No you didn't upset me at all Mike,
I was simply confused about your approach (what you were trying to say).
