Took The Plunge (SPLAT)! w/LTUs

Upgraded! Leaving town. Will download later. Funny email from Cake right after sale:

"You've done it, you've bought your first DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)! This purchase is an exciting new chapter in your musical career. Now you can start recording your band practices, making demos, writing music, performing with a virtual band, and so much more."

This was an upgrade. Did I pay 2much? Will the price drop after Aug 31st? If it does, it does. I held out on X3 Pro and got a smokin' hot deal so I won't be surprised to see the D/L extended. No complainy here.

Anxious to check out the mac version too if I ever get a mac.

That email is sort of odd, also presumptuous.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

"You've done it, you've bought your first DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)! ...

If we're going to debate the semantics, I think it's the word "bought" that makes the sentence true.  One could argue that in the past you only really leased the software (since you had to re-up every year).  Now with lifetime updates, no more re-upping... you've effectively purchased the software.

SonarPlat/CWbBL, Win 10 Pro, i7 2600K, Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, 16GB DDR3, Radeon HD5450, TC Electronic Impact Twin, Kawai MP11 Piano, Event ALP Monitors, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, Too Many Plugins, My lucky hat.
