Oddly enough, Cattle Decapitation do a lot of Carpenters covers.

I attended the Minnesota Outward Bound school in the late 60s as a teen. On our last night, they brought in some local talent (Ely, MN) for entertainment. The band's name seemed an odd choice: Redneck and the Red Rectums. What were they thinking?
