Hey all... I've dinked around about ezkeys... looks interesting but only if we can dump our compositions... the complete midi file, notes, cc, v, at etc... in Sonar and have another piano or instrument play it...
Please say, yes.. you can do that, simple, works great... you can use all your cool/better pianos, edit away...

Really... the entire composition, with all the info...????? No problems????? It'll sound the same on another piano???? So I can make all the interesting changes they show on the vids, and build my composition, and export what I've built?????? Of course, if it does this it could be applied to orchestrations and such..... oh my! REALLY??? hmmmmmm..... OMG, another platform I have to find money for. I'm both glad and sorry I started perusing threads on this stuff... does look awesome. Now you have me searching for a demo... not good. not good at all... need gas for the car and food for Volt! Well, that sucks... limitations make it impossible to try what I would want it for... Trust.... arrrg! There's gotta be a catch...like, you can only export the original midi file or something... not the massaged one we can do in the ezkeys gui... or can we?

Not only can you drag and drop the MIDI into Sonar, you can enable MIDI out and audition and arrange using other VSTis, one reason why I am in no hurry to add expansion packs.
You can also drag midi from Sonar into EZ Keys importing chord sequenced and/or patterns for further manipulation.
