Toontrack Number One Hits EZX

I missed the announcement of this new expansion for EZDrummer http://www.toontrack.com/products.asp?item=101 
 
A new Toontrack product usually gets my GAS working overtime, but this one is not really up my street.  By the sound of the demos a lot of people will love this.

To break it down, Number 1 Hits is a one-stop-shop for instant drum production when it comes to contemporary pop, dance, house and hip hop music. It has all the timeless, Linn, TR 909, TR 808, DR 55 sounds heard in pretty much every modern production that tops the charts of today, and on top of that, it comes with a large collection of unique and custom designed acoustic sounds - all of which were run through Niklas Flyckt's amazing signal chain of SSL, tube vintage compressors and hard-to-find outboard gear.

    It's definitely a dance oriented EZX.  It's a lot like the Electronic EZX but better organized for the electronic drummer and song writer.  The pads and midi note numbers are more in line with what you expect with a regular kit.  IOW, if you are used to using a certain note for a crash or a hi hat, you will know that any preset will put that type of sample in that location.  With the Electronic EZX, you sometimes don't know what you will get.

    Of those two libraries, I like the Number 1 Hits EZX best because I don't want have to audition a bunch of different samples to try to find a different hihat sound.  The interface on the No 1 Hits is much easier to deal with.  It makes life easier for an Ancient Guitar Slinger like me.
