If I did go for it I know I would be second in line. They haven't had a new instrument for a while. Lots of drum and keys midi but no instruments.

You don't need to change your platform. But you simply can't get what you want based on that first principal. As I've told my children since they were very young (they're in their 40s now), "to get what you want you don't always get what you want".

i am aware of all of that... but it is no less a big annoyance. i have a product that i cannot use, because of a decision to not support software that is still in use all over the globe.
