They also emailed one-off codes last week, which takes £10 more off.

Neither is likely to be on Sale for Black Friday or End of Year.

Very cool that they released the SDX and EZX together. Toontrack really has their act together.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water If you want to be genre specific they should probably have called it Progressive Metal. I thought I was done with drums for a while but I love the sound in the SDX demos. I will have to think about it,

Listening to the demos...I actually preferred the EZX to the SDX.

The SDX has got to give you a lot more tweaking room though. You can probably make the SDX sound like the EZX with the right tweaks.

Smart to release the EZD and SD together. One helps build buzz for the other. The Hip Hop EZX is still not included in sales and that was out 3 or 4 months before Indiependent, IIRC. Toontrack has had a good amount of new stuff and pretty much all of is has been very good. How long till the EZ Keys Hammond? You know it has to be on the way. They seem to have hit a tater with the new Progressive Packs.

The web site says "This collection of drum MIDI comes from The Progressive Foundry SDX and presents a comprehensive collection of grooves and fills specifically intended for use in progressive"... I have been trying to find out if the EZX midi is the same as the SDX. It would seem to be that way but I don't want to make any assumptions. The EZX page doesn't mention anything about midi. If someone finds out post it, if you would. The only way to save on these is a Black Fri/Cyber Monday sale or the like. Hopefully someone will offer a percentage off on all their stock. Not really tempted to jump on this right now with the big dance only 3 weeks away.

Cool! The opening song (Simple Boy) is by Karnivool from the Sound Awake album, which is their best. Also from the video their drummer (Steve Judd) is involved. If you're into prog/prog metal check this album out. p.s. Oh yeah, this sdx/ezx sounds excellent.
