Looks interesting, I'll need to check it out. I love the blues, so it could be a viable candidate to add to my expanding EZdrummer kit arsenal. Thanks for the heads up! Billy Buck

MrMook strikinglyhandsome1 For EZdrummer and Superior drummer http://www.toontrack.com/products.asp?item=121 Shops will have it cheaper no doubt. Yep. I got an email from Florida Music BEFORE I got the one from Toontrack. http://floridamusicco.com/proddetail~prod~blues_ezx.htm $69 as compared to $89 @ TT. I think I'll wait. TT has the prefect marketing model. Reasonable prices with MANY add-ons. After all is said and done you're broke! Mookie...I've said that I don't know how many times... No matter what else they may be working on ...they don't neglect their existing products like others do...

I shall not rush, I shall not rush, I shall not rush in on this kit-- No not because it is not worth it; the two vintage kits sound decent and I like that suitcase as the third kick. However, by the end of the year we all know that this may likely be part of one of those spectacular Toontrack deals at audiodeluxe or one of those companies where they are selling them for $39 or something even better. I already own both Roots SDX kits and after listening to this Blues EZX kit it reminds me of the timbre of the roots stick kit--raw and down to earth. It is great that TT is offering this earthy vibe for the EZX line. Someone, when you get this kit, do report back as to how it compares to Roots. I hope I can get by for now without this new EZX; I will get by, I will, I will get by, I shall--well we'll see.

I have not even played with either Roots yet so if I got this EZX it would be accurate to say they are equal, IMO.

I really like the old school sound of these kits...especially the Levin. Have to wait for the inevitable $30 buck sale but will purchase. Ginchy good!!

cclarry No matter what else they may be working on ...they don't neglect their existing products like others do... Must agree with you here. They do offer updates for their older products from time to time. My only complaint is that you would never know when there has been an update if you were not watching this forum. From time to time, I go to my TT account and check instrument by instrument to see if it has been updated. Wish TT would email us with such news, but they never have to my recollection; at least they support their products and they went 64 bit relatively early compared to some companies.

Since I do not have NY Vol 3 yet and now this... I'm gonna let one more product come out and then wait on that "buy 3 get 298% off" sale from AD
