Touch and screen resolution

Is anyone using Sonar X3 on a large monitor 27" and up with resolution greater than 1920?

I already have X3 working on a 23" touch monitor but want to go larger. The issue is most monitors are still 1920 resolution.
More screen space does not put more on the screen. 4K would but those monitors are still expensive.

Thanks.

    I have a Dell 30inch running at 2560x1600. I also have a 24inch Dell - 1920x1200 - and have another 27inch - 1920x1080 available, but rarely need it.

Lots a real estate and although some things appear small to look at - some soft synths...need my glasses - I'm really happy with.

    "I have a Dell 30inch running at 2560x1600"
Thanks for the reply. Which Dell model is that?  Does the 2560 x 1600 resolution help the Skylight, faders and ProChannel to open up?

I find the real estate is congested in 23" at 1920 x 1200. The monitor is an Acer 232 touch screen and I won't go larger without touch. I have a 28" 1920 x 1200 above the touch screen for Lynx Mixer and anything that does not need to be on Skylight. Sometimes I move park plugins.

I also looked at the specs on the HP Z1 Gen 2 which could replace my complete computer with up to 4K resolution. It has PCIe slots for my UAD-2 cards. I'm assuming the configuration you want will cost double the $1999 starting price. It looks like a powerful box and the first Windows 8 computer I've seen with built-in Thunderbolt.

For now, I'd just like to upgrade the main monitor to something => 30" with touch.

My 22" monitor runs at 1680 x 1050 (max) and I can see 15.5 tracks in console view.
My large 42" monitor runs at 1920 x 1080 (max) and I can see 18 tracks in console view.
    That's a difference of just 2.5 tracks.

So (obviously) resolution size (not just screen size) is important.
I'd like to know how many tracks you can see in console view (maximized) in the higher resolutions.

That's what I was thinking - resolution is as important as size. I see the same on the 23" and 28" monitors, only bigger.
