[Track] AgincourtDB - "Europa" (Ambient/Noise)

Europa

I used FM8, Perfectspace, and LP-61,TL-64 as well as the Kjaerhus Classic Master Limiter.

Playing with reverb feedback, mostly, as well as the odd behavior of the particular FM8 patch ('1868 Recorded Sine').

The first thing i did was turn up the volume 'cause I couldn't hear much happening, then I had to turn it down again because the next section was going to be heard on Europa. I felt like I was doing that the whole song.
I did like the space vibe you got happening, it really suits the subject matter.

My attitude is that I like loud parts to be loud and quiet parts to be quiet. :-) sometimes to a fault. <eg> Thanks for listening! :-)

Well, I don't know if I get it or not. You said you are playing around with reverb feedback and some odd behavior FM8 patch (1868 recorded sine), which for me doesn't mean much. It is different! Is there some direction this is going? Or, like in the title it says ambient (the lower sounds)/ noise (the higher sounds). (Playing around with) I'm guessing means just that, kind of like experimenting? This then, I assume, is the results and you titled it "Europa". Am I understanding this right, because right now, I don't know what to think or what kind of comments to make on the piece. Will cool work ?

Hmmmmm how to contribute critically to something as experimental as this other than to close my eyes and let the sounds wash over me and see how I feel.  The thing is, it achieves what it aims to achieve I think.  Evoking an image or feeling of the moon Europa.  At one point I thought adding deep resonate sounds like colliding ice sheets could be useful, but you probably don't want to be too literal.

Cheers.
