Phil is being far too modest. Phil gave me a really interesting extended piano passage that I built off of. I found the passage very inspirational.

Wonderful Guys...Beautiful tune. Love the piano, was that your work Phil?? Come on...don't be shy...

Great soundscaping, really first class listen.

OK, here we go. ::Will PET PEEVE:: Feel free to tell me to go screw myself if you like:

Around 2:25, 2:42, 2:51 you have drums playing straight 8ths on hi-hat, then a light tom fill. Know where I mean? Uhm, most drummers I've met have two hands. OK, one I've met had three but he's in a different business now, something to do with porn movies, I dunno...

Anyway, if you've ever played drums, you might realize that if there's going to be a tom fill then the hi-hat needs to, uhm, STOP so that the poor mortal drummer with only two hands can move sticks from hat to toms. You COULD continue with hat on the 8th notes, but it would have to be pedal hat, which is a different sound.

Just a thought, I have played drums for so long that when I hear something that really can't be done by one person then it just jumps out at me like one of B's alligators.

On the other hand, if that's the only beef I have with a tune then you know it's first class work...

    WC:

You're spot on and don't feel bad about bringing it up. My main instrument is drums so I know what you're talking about. Tip of the hat for knowing the difference and listening so carefully. I did the drum parts in multiple takes for some reason (can't remember why). The part bothers me too but I just haven't gotten around to fixing.

Eric's so full of crap he's floating. I did a little ditty on the keys, he did the ambiance, structure, cadence, flow, and imagination.

On the liner notes it reads as follow:

Some guy named Phil did a piano lick.

    Eric did all the rest.

Pretty sweet. I might take a little EQ off the drums....also it kinda cuts out at the end...could be my player.

Man, what is with the talent here of late? Either i'm losing my ear, or people are getting better.

Great track. Does end abruptly. I'd do a slow fade out.

All, thanks much for listening and sharing comments.

Oroboros, I'm not a big fan of the ending either. I've thought about extending it a bit but just never got around to it.
