Hey Cliff thats cool I can see flying down the road in the big rig carrying a hot load of goods to your next big city , I like the robot sound mix very unusal and different COOL!

Your hot load is a trailier full of your CD's with this song on it !

Brother
You are just too funny!!!

a hot load of my CD's..........well maybe one day that'll happen.......but first I need some real material...

But you know seriously......my goal this upcoming year is to gather enough material to actually do a cd ....we will see if it comes true!!!  It's been my dream since I was in 8th grade!!!  and we will not tell how long that has been!!!

thanks for the listen and comment and laugh I appreciate it
Cliff

I hear you Bro , my dream at that age was to be a Beatle , I pushing 60 in three years now , the only thing I ended up with was a VW Beatle Bug back in my teens .

I'm still trying to make a go at it doing my own thing thanks to everyone on this forum , Maybe someday I too can see a CD with my name and songs on it .
Guess I'll never stop trying untill I kick the bucket ,when that time arrives they can fill my casket up with all my CD's and shove me out to sea and watch me sink ! LOL

I like this, has a cool vibe!

Didn't care for the trumpet being panned left, and the vocoder parts could stand to be tightened up.  Not sure if the vocoder processing itself lagged or what, but things seem to be a few ms off here and there.

Cool track though.

sorry about the trumpet panning you did not like....
but I tried to fill my sonic spectrum by panning 2 horns left and 2 horns right......I'm surprised you didn't get that if you caught the trumpet.....oh well no biggie

I know your right about the vocoder being off a little.......fact of the matter is that afteer so many weeks of just trying to just get it to work I was happy to get it in there.....

How i did it was I layed the voice part down and then cut and pasted it dry so that it lined up with the Bass and drums exactly and then applied the vocoder..........maybe I should have then gone back and tweaked it............Ithink that maybe there is a slight echo that needs to be adjusted for

But thank you for stopping be and commenting
I appreciate it and glad you liked it

Nice song. Really nice groove. I might have like a bridge or maybe just the Old James Brown lick where you go up one key in the middle for 16 bars with different syncopation.

Finally getting to this, Cliff.  Sorry it took so long. Wow--it's cool!  I can hear the words a bit better than I could before so either something came together better, or I'm just listening harder. :-)  Good job.  Cool groove!

I bet you never forget Kilo Juliet 40 Foxtrot Lima!  :-)
