Track Mode/Mix Mode Toggle

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, as I have not kept up to date with this forum. It occurred to me as I read my umpteenth buffer issue that it would be convenient to have a button in the control bar to shift buffers instead of having to go into preferences each time (yet still defined in preferences). I can already see this causing grief to some interfaces, and probably the transport scripted to stop, audio engine off and back on, etc.; but is an idea.
 
I guess the real "desire" here is not to have to drill into the preferences to do this.

    If you are using ASIO, the buffer setting is set in the vendor client software and not in SONAR. I link could be added to the control bar to popup the preference screen but the change can't happen their when running ASIO.
     
    Edit: after posting I see someone has already added a link to a similar request discussing the same technical issues.
