Track Name Field is too short.

In the Track View, the name field should be A LOT LONGER.  In Cubase, I can define how long in characters it should be.

Besides stretching the field (in the track header) with my mouse, but there seems to be a limit, and it's far too short for the names generated by some VST Instruments.

Is there a way to make it longer?

Not that I know of, but I always rename my tracks anyway for something more meaningful and generally shorter names.

Same here, although the track names barely show when the tracks are at regular width and the don't show at all, just the first letter when I narrow the tracks and busses, I make sure my naming convention only include short names for what's actually on the track.
