(Track) Remindful - vocal mix

This is one of the first vocal tracks that I have produced.  It had some minor mastering for the album, but i did most of the work myself - not necessarily a good thing!   hopefully a catchy tune at least!

    I think the track was very well done! A bit on the happy side for me but I really enjoyed the transition around the 2:18 mark. The vocals sat very well in the mix as well, nice job!

    Paul,

    nice.  I like the happiness aspect.  Had me nodding (my head, not off).  Nice use of resonance and a hint of dissonance in the break.  reminded me a little of "Popcorn" for some reason - must be that little lead line/sound.

    As usual, you have the dance style down and manage to make it interesting to boot.

    that is why, other than writing most of them, I leave them to the vocalist w/ maybe some helpful nudges here and there.  With your ear, you can do a bit more, I suppose.  Still, it is a whole other bag.

    Have to admit it's a bit on the happy side for me (cause i'm a miserable git), but i'm highly impressed with the overall production of this track and thought the vocals were just about perfect for it.  Nice work all-round paul.

    Big synths!!!  Love that intro.  Vocals sound great and Anya has a really great voice.  The production sounds great overall, although I do think that a little more bass would help push the song along, particularly during the chorus.  Love the sound of that piano!  Nice work, Paul!
