[Track] Wandering Signal - AgincourtDB

320kbps streaming or 128kbps streaming.

Lounge Lizard 3, Sonitus Delay, Perfectspace, Boost11. More of my 'process' music, but a little cheerier than usual. Written in P5 mixed in Sonar 7P. Named after a starship in a Larry Niven story.

    Interesting ............

I felt like I was waiting for it to develop into something more, like it was a prelude to something else.

What genre would you put that into, if you were going to classify it?

I liked this more on second listen. It has an interesting progression, and I think it would work really well as music for a film or documentary. I like it. Can you provide a little more explanation about what you mean by 'process music'?

The Wiki entry for 'process music' has a pretty good answer to both questions. :-) Thanks for listening!

Cool piece, Dave! It's minimal, but complex at the same time. I really like the change at 3:00 and the 8-bar layers that come in over that change. Excellent work!

I like slow build-up music so i liked this a lot. The only real crit i have is that most of the sound seemed to come from the middle position between the speakers, but that does'nt detract from the musical enjoyment too much.

I had friends who played this sort of thing live with xylophone and marimba and piano and this sort of thing is very compelling live

It loses a little as just a recording

    but this is classic stuff
except as I might have mentioned before these pieces need to go on for > 12 minutes

nice work -- more than readily apparent goes into the construction

This one seems like a more 'up and fun' tune than some of your recent tracks, you can always seem to create nice subtle change with your tracks to keep them going, the rhodes adds a whole lot to this one, I really liked the feel I got when it kicked in, it really added the extra element this piece needed, and it kind of took away some of the cheeriness at the same time!
I thought it was pretty cool, especially the rhodes like I all ready mentioned, nice work!

Split album from myself and :10: (Sean Forsythe) can be found at this link :)

Yea, this is different than most of your other stuff - I kept waiting for it to break out. But good on its own - and the cheeze is well done, too! Kept making me smile.
