Track icons and Win 7 -SOLVED

Hi all so far X1B is doing fine.

I have just started trying to play with track icons.

For some reason I can't find a way that Win 7 lets me see the darn images unless I go to teh trouble of previewing each individually or of course I could add it and see if I like it...a real pain...

For some reason all the bmp files will have the default icon for the designated program assigned to open it...I certainly would like to just open an appropriate folder and SEE the icons without having to preview each...
Any ideas? I've tried every place I coud think of the effect/change these preferences...

Thanks...

There is a default in one of the sub folders I eventually found that was checked for "Always show icons -never thumbnails" or something like that....

Hi Boblette. You've solved a bugbear of mine! Can you recall where you found this option?

    Hi Steve,

I just checked on a Win 7 machine at work so this should be the same for you as it was for me...

Click to open the Windows Explorer (yellow folder icon normally on the bottom left of the task bar)

You should see an Organize tab, click it...

then you should be seeing  a menu screen about halfway down there should be:

    folder and search options....click that

then you should see another window with three tabs one of which should be:

    View...click that

uncheck the box next to Always Show Icons, Never Thumbnails...

    that should do it!
