Track "lock height" in X2

What does this do? I cannot tell. In the manual it says it locks and unlocks the height of a track. However, with it on, I am still free to change the height of a track at will.

I was RTFM (the pdf). It just said that lock height locks the track height, and that was all.

    Open pdf manual
    Press “Search” TAB
Type in... strangely enough “lock height”
    Press “list topics”
Double click on… “Configuring the display of tracks in the track view”
Read last to lines on page…

"When you lock the height of a track, its height does not change when you use a Zoom or Fit command. When a track’s height is locked, you can
still drag the track strip’s lower border to adjust the track’s height. After you drag the border, the altered track height becomes the track’s locked height."

You can turn it off and on.  Automatic track height or something like that.  It is in a drop down menu but I can't remember exactly where.
