Track templates

Is there any way to create a template from more than one track or from a folder track? I can't seem to even select multiple tracks but it would be useful as then if you have a track with an instrument in the audio bin and midi routed from a midi track you could save it as one template - even better if it was in a folder, and reuse it instead of having to setup the routings everytime.

In Reaper I can do this easily.

you can do this easily.  set up everything the way you want- routing, folders, other settings.  highlight the tracks and choose file- export -track template.  I have many of these setup for stylus rmx and battery with different multichannel routings.... .  After this you can drag it from the browser to the track view anytime you need.  Also you select multiple tracks by dragging down the numbers of tracks in track view....

Yes, you should be able to easily do this in SONAR as well.

Just select multiple tracks (and/or track folders). Then right-click one of the selected tracks and save as a track template.

You can Ctrl+click track numbers to select multiple tracks. Or click/drag over continuous track numbers to select multiple tracks. Or you can select one track and then Shift+click another to select all tracks between them (including the ones you clicked).

Oh I see - it just doesn't look like both tracks are selected as it only highlights one at a time - that is rather misleading. But when I save it saves both (although even if I have them expanded it opens a new template closed - how do i save them open?) Also I can't see a way to save a folder track still
