Trance + House + Moombahton = Trancahousaton?

Howdy friends!

Just finished a second mix of a new track with elements of progressive house, trance, and moombahton. I'd love some feedback!

I realize I'm posting this on the infinitely public internet, but I should at least mention that I'm trying to keep this track under wraps until I finish up my EP, so please don't Tweet it or anything. :o]

Thanks!!!!!! :oD

What is moombahton?  This song has a lot of generic elements of the kind of music I hear in clubs.  IOW, it has a strong commercial appeal.  I wouldn't worry too much about being ripped off as there are tons of music like this everywhere.  The production is very good, I wish you luck on your album.

    All the best,

Thanks for listening, Lynn! Moombahton is a genre of music that fuses house and raggaeton. The section spanning from 1:00 to about 1:30 is inspired by this genre (note the double time rhythmic feel and the latinesque kick pattern).

Thanks for your comments about the track- I agree that it has a rather generic sound. Thanks for your kind words regarding the production, too. I spent all night last night working on it.
