Trance Jam (intro shortened 12-25)

After weeks I have my daw computer back in business after wiping the hard disk from a nasty virus. To celebrate, I was toying with this music, and thought I would share.
Comment if you want, or not. Happy Holidays to all.
It's called "Trance Jam"

I almost gave up on this before it really started... that would have been a shame... because this turned into a really groovy tune... Hot licks and great tone with a groove...

I would shorten the cheesy synth intro, before anyone else makes the same mistake that I almost did...

    Very cool... well done...

    Frank,
Thanks for taking your time to type a post on this.
I agree about the begining being to long before it gets to the meat.
I also thank you for the comment on the guitar tone, which I have been working hard to try to get a good tone.
I hope I can take this groove and further it into more of a song structure.

Thanks again, and Happy Holidays to you!

Wow, this is not what I expected from you "at all." Not really my style the way it started, I really liked it when those guitars kicked in though! Beautiful recording/mix (IMO). Good job, and Merry Christmas :-) That guitar sounds great! Is it a Les Paul?

    Robby,
First off, thanks for taking the time to post on this.
This is not what I would expect from me either, but with all the tool in
              Sonar, I get adventurous.

I have really been working on my guitar tone, and have found, what records well is not what
I would choose at all playing live. Also I have always loved that honk tone that only a Les Paul
              will deliver. (hehe)

              Thanks Robby!
              Happy Holidays

Not what I expected from a 'trance' tune and I was pleasantly surprised when the guitars kicked in!!! (I almost made the same 'mistake' that Frank did too).

Excellent git tone/playing and you just drove this tune along nicely IMO!

    Almost Floyd-ish.....

    Thanks Larry,
I took the advice that was given and have shortened up the intro.

Very nice track and guitar work!  The production/mix is superb.  Dig all the lead work over the two power chords.  I like the breakdown at 2:43 too.  Thanks for comment on "Abandoned Orphanage"!  mike

Nice one! A nice solid real drum track and a moving but not obtrusive bass part and this would be pretty smokin. Hmmm... Soundclick just stopped your song and started playing an ad. That was pretty obnoxious.

Cool tune definitely.  Loved the leads over the chords... cool stuff.  Fwiw- I kind of like mixing the electronic stuff with the classic gritty guitar sounds, so this was a treat for me.

Very nice combo of trace and rock.  This is a jam song; but I would suggest you add a bridge to change things up in the middle and go back to the original sequence.  This will add some length to the song which kind of short now.
