Transient warning in Playlist.
Hi All. I have encountered a behaviour in Platinum that I haven't seen in previous versions. When loading new songs into a playlist it randomly (I am guessing on projects with a high track count) comes up with a warning that says the song may sound different whilst the program is building transients. The problem is that this warning stops the playlist from progressing. Whenever I install a new version of Sonar I load all 400 of my live performance songs into a continuous playlist and leave it playing overnight - for the very reason of allowing it to build the transients before it is used on stage. Does anyone know a way to turn off this new and bothersome warning? Thanks!

That means audio snap is enabled on clips in the specific project. You can open the project then select the clips that have audio snap on them and either disable audio snap for them or bounce them.

Thanks for the response swamptooth. None of the tracks have audio snap enabled.

So this only happens when they're opening in playlist? If it does the same thing when you open a project normally would you be willing to send me a project to look at?

It's only when it is drawing the transients for the first time and doing so from inside a playlist Swamptooth. As I said, in the past I would load all of the songs into a long play list and leave it playing so that they were all cached prior to performance to avoid glitches. I have just had to load them manually this time. Thanks for your time though:)

Sure. I think it's probably meaning it's drawing the waveforms. If it says transients then I'd bug it up. Good luck with everything -- 400 projects is not for the faint of heart!! :)

You are absolutely right swamptooth - it is indeed drawing the waveforms. Hopefully once I have loaded all of the projects once it will stop. I will submit a playlist bug report to Cakewalk as I am also getting strange screen behavior as the songs play. I have a small window open showing the playback screen and it has two position cursors - one moving and one not! Playback is not affected so just a screen refresh issue. Thanks again mate:)
