Transpose Live

I'm using Sonar with Kontakt and have several controllers connected
to Sonar via Midi. (Using different ports with a Motu AV timepiece)

When I am imrpovising live with this rig I would love to have a button or
even a simple key press on the computer or maybe a controller
somewhere to transpose the whole thing instantly.
(No time for a Ctl + Shift + F9 sort of thing.... ONE PRESS OR ONE TURN maybe....

I have done this at my church gig on a Rodgers organ and it's a great way to
add a lot of punch at just the right moment especially when I'm sight reading hymn arrangements
(The Rodgers has a big button that you can up or down by four semitones.)

Any ideas on how I might best accomplish this with my Midi rig and Sonar.
No time to mess with the mouse. I need an instant gratification with one turn
or a simple key press OR is there a Dxi out there to accomplish this?
I like the idea of having my choice of how much transposition I want too.
(ie: Up a fourth down a third, etc... and I never know in advance it's just how the moment strikes you
when your playing live. - Sound Like A Tall Order huh?)

Something in Kontakt maybe?

Anybody have an Ideas?
How would you do it?

Well uh.. maybe but I'm looking for fixed ptiches. Think I have to play with the transpose stuff for a while.
Thinking about using key bindings somehow...
Then again maybe I could control pitch from an external controller to the Kontakt unit.

Another thought I had was to use the StudioWare and design a panel that would contol the soft synth on a rotary knob.

Still searching but I know there's got to be a simple solution.

    Thanks for the reply
