Transposing With Controller

Is it possible to transpose a single MIDI track using a controller?  What I would like to do is change the pitch of my track for tweaking my analog synth.  It is easier for me to do this if I can do it all from my controller.  I want to transpose the entire looped track by one to three semitones at the start of the loop.

Thanks.

I opened a ticket to Cakewalk with this question.  To me, it's logical that Sonar allows one to do what I am looking for.  I just cannot figure out how to do it.

My question I just submitted below:

I have posted my question below on the Cakewalk forum:

I have a single MIDI track that I recorded using my Akai MPK49 controller.  It is a track of about four measures that I have set to loop.  What I want to do is transpose this track at the start of its repetition with my keyboard controller.  I understand that I can edit the Key+ value shown on the track inspector to manually do this.  However, I would think I should also be able to do this using my keyboard controller.  The transposition for the entire track should be relative to the current note I play on the keyboard.

How can I do this with X1 Producer?

    Thank you.

The response from Cakewalk on my question above is that this cannot be done via Sonar.
