Triangulum
https://soundcloud.com/orygun/triangulum I was trying for a Klaus Schulze sound but this morphed into something else. It kind of ends abruptly but I'm going to add more sections to it later. Thanks for listening Arturia CS 80 love this synth Arturia Analog Lab Zebra Synthmaster Omnisphere Precision Sound

This is really cool Bjorn, certainly captures that Berlin School vibe. I look forward to hearing the completed article and this is a cracking start.

This is excellent Bjorn What do you call a "long time?" My M81 track took a year to get to the point where I was happy with it. As Adrian says, definitely a Berlin School vibe to this piece

Tom and jamesg Thanks!
Andy These ambient pieces seem a lot harder to do than the more straightforward "normal" music. I get lost in the middle of a long evolving section and have to listen to it over and over to figure out the best place to insert another track.

Well... I'm with you there Bjorn When I am creating my longer, ten minute plus tracks you spend a lot more time just listening and tweaking.

Hi Bjorn, This song came out really good I know it's your melody , yet the tune starts off with a very familiar sounding melody along the lines and phrasing of The Concerto de Aranjuez . Then you bring it to a whole other place ... Love the synth sounds. You song put me in a reflective thought provoking type of mood and vibe ... all the best, kenny

Steve and Frederic Thank you. Appreciate the comments.
Wookie Thanks Yeah, that CS 80 is wonderful. Probably my favorite instrument.
Kenny Thank you! I knew the melody sounded a little familiar but I couldn't place it. I tried changing it around a little, but I didn't like the results so I kept it as is. The next version will be different.
But on second thought, it might work to use the Aranjuez piece as originally written and give it the ambient treatment, kind of a Switched-On Bach version.

That was very nice, Bjorn, I enjoyed it. The whole piece was really "smooth" yet layered and always interesting. I think this is a good genre for you!
