Trigger Wav file using Midi Track from within Sonar?

I have a single, short, recorded clip of a tone that I would like to trigger using a midi track within Sonar. I put the Wav file in the Matrix view but am not sure there is a way to repeatedly trigger the sample using a Midi track?

You can do this with the Drop Zone synth (and probably with others but this what I first used as it was open).  Others will no doubt know better ways but this simple method works for me:

    - insert Drop Zone for that MIDI track
    - in DropZone click on 'insert sample' (click on the 'name bar' for the wav file), and navigate to the folder where your WAV. file is kept.  Choose your sample.
    -  middle C on your kbd should now play that sample.  Other notes should play it at other pitches, (with the usual decrease in quality).  You can also trigger it from middle c in staff view or whatever.

Isn't that nifty?  Recently I put together a selection of 6 different "musical spoons" clips, all different sounding clicks of spoons being played as in some folk music - Then I loaded the samples into Drop Zone, and was able to play a neat sounding musical spoon rhythm track, using my MIDI keyboard to play those samples in Drop Zone.  It's a fast and easy version of the old style hardware samplers we used to use.
