Triplets for Drums in Piano Roll!!!

I cant for the life of me figure out how to create 16th note triplets in piano roll view.
I have snap set to 16th note.  And Event Draw Duration set to 16th Triplet.
And when I place the note in piano roll, it draws only one of the three notes of the triplet.  I cant draw and drag the remaining 2 notes of the triples, because of the snap. When I turn off the snap, it still doesnt sound right.
Isnt there a way to draw all three notes of the triplet at once.
How do I do this?!?!
Thanx

you need to set the snap accordingly first, and your note value.

I don't know of a way to add all three notes at the same time...but you can set the snap to 16th triplet by clicking on the "3" button when you choose 16th in snap.

Also...for drums...you probably want to set it to not show duration under the "Note" dropdown in PRV.

    Thank you Ted,
the "3" in the lock did the trick!
Funny how you can look at everything and miss the one thing that works!

Easiest way I've found is just drop the notes then lasso and quantize them to 16th triplets. I find it easier than switching snap settings and then changing things back again.
