TruePianos update to fix issues with x2
I'm not sure if this was posted already buy I just checked the TP site and found the update. The update is version 1.95 and was issued Oct 24th.
i7-3770k OC at 4.5Ghz, asus p8z77-m, 16g g.skill aries 1600 c9 ram, Noctua d-14 cooler, RME HDSPe Raydat, Motu FastLane, Nvidea GTX 980 ti 6G, windows 7 and 8.1 pro x64. Sonar Platinum and x3e currently installed My Music My YouTube

TP update (perhaps not this latest one) did fix an issue with X1 previously.
TP kept asking for registration code, but after each restart, it will ask the same - till I updated it.
What issue were you having with X2 / TP ?

I did not have issues. TP issued the new version last month and the fix for x2 was to fix crashes when bouncing audio. That is on the TP home page. When registering TP I have found that the best way is to run the stand alone version to activate it.

Thanks for the heads up, Tom. But it seems the crash was with the Atlantis module which I don't really use, so I hadn't seen a problem in X2, either.

Click the "customer area" link under the 1.9.5 maintenance release description on the home page, and log on with e-mail address and registration code.

By True Pianos support answer this is a release for full true pianos customers.All Sonar's True Pianos updates will release on Sonar support site.

I ran the update last night, but just noticed that "About" in the TP interface still shows 1.9.0. No big deal since I'm not having issues of any kind, but can any one else confirm this? Maybe they forgot to update it. EDIT: It appears that the standalone TruePianos.exe file has been replaced with a newer one, but the VSTi DLLs have not, which seems odd if there was a problem with the VST in SONAR. I entered a support request on their website to confirm what I should be seeing.

brundlefly check to see if the update put the new copy in a different folder. That will cause the vst scan to pickup the wrong one.
