Trying to decide whether to upgrade to Z3ta+ 2

I'm honestly not a great synth player or programmer, but I do currenttly use z3ta. Aside from the interface, what are some of the benefits of upgrading?

Hey dub,

the biggest thing is another 1000 presets - some good stuff.

But if you are into programming you can control the waveshaping functions now for real-time mucking up of your samples.

It was so cheap earlier it was a no-brainer.  If it no longer is, that is up to you and your hairdresser, I guess.

I just spent a couple hours going though the new factory bank, one preset at a time. These sounds really are amazing.

Just wondering guys if I need to do anything special, I'm waiting with the download in the Cake Store as we speak! I have everything up to latest build, so my question is will I need to update anything before I hit download? Since I have never updated Z3Ta+ that came w/ Sonar? Any help would be great, I always buy boxed versions, so a little timid! Thanks!
Sorry if I wasn't clear, just had to buy Z3Ta+ 2.1, for that price! Just not much of a synth guy! Thanks again!

Never mind got it, thanks though!

Although it's an upgrade, it installs separately. no need to do anything except run installer...but I see you found that out :)

Agreed, worth every penny! Quick question, like I said, I have boxed versions of almost everything, so will my download stay in my acct. in the Cake Store? Do I need to do anything to take precautionary measures, sounds dumb, but I just really am not sure what protocol is?

Cakewalk is owned by Roland, which is a very stable company that is likely to suddenly disappear overnight. I have the install files backed up along with all the appropriate registration numbers. It's just extra caution on my part because I have information and download files available to me on the Cakewalk site that have been there for years.

Thanks, backed them up as well, just wondering if they stayed in the Store, and have E-Mails with them as well, should be good to go!

This is definately a great buy. The Z3TA 2+ just sounds fantastic, and the tweaking options makes it a awsome synth. I bought it, and I love it!:)
