Hello, I will try to give you a translation of this song which has some meaning in my personnal path.. I Miss You They tell me just remain patient They say it's just a matter of time But all theese sayings won't make the trick I miss you Groping around with no faith Surrounded by dark and deep haze Don't even know what I am waiting for I miss you They say that there will come a day When someone will arrive on my way But you know this can't be true I miss you The lonely thought which comes to me Is to carve all over my skin The first letters of your name I miss you They tell me just remain patient They say it's just a matter of time But all theese sayings won't make the trick I miss you. Thanks to you if you give an ear. Cheers. Olivier.

carving letters over one's skin is a little extreme olivier. i'd seek help for that (unless it's a french idiom of some kind). Nevertheless I can tell you really love this person (if bordering on obsession) :D:D

The mix seems to be OK here, everything in the right place.

Hi David, thanks for your insight ,maybe " engrave over my skin" should be closer to what I mean. You are right in what you say. Cheers. Olivier.

Very nice sound, Olivier! I really like the blend of the acoustic guitar and the piano. There were some occasional timing and tuning issues between those 2 instruments, and I think the piano could have used a bit more reverb and use of the sustain pedal. Felt a little choppy at times. I thought the drums were excellent, and you did a nice job mixing your voice, with just the right amount of reverb.

Hi Sir, Thank you for this ..wise comment. Yes the title is somewhat " jerky" ....the thing is that the piano is not a real one and I have problems with this kind of stuff. I played it on a midi keyboard, using true piano( lots of things going wrong :midi translation is not good, plus virtual piano is not able to " tell" things with accuracy, plus I am not able to play properly..) put it out in " real life " going out from the converter through a cheap preamp then back in the PC but ..it is NOT a piano. I did not quantized it because it doesn't work so edited it here and there in the secret hope that it would make the trick, but it does not..... Hi hi. The title is a kind of a model. You heard it,so I am sure you are a musician. Anyway,Thanks for listening. Cheers. Olivier

Cool tune! I'd just lower the piano a little when the vocal is present, and maybe a little more reverb on the piano. Don't care about a translation - I think the cadence fits very nicely and you have a nice voice! I think your acoustic guitar's tuning is not exactly matching the piano, hope you can check on that. It's a nice part of the song. cheers, -Tom

Hello Tom, Thanks a lot for listening, Ok people have good ears here :-) Yes guitar is tuned with a cool tool named Peterson's Strobosoft which gives what they label " sweetener" ,a way to put some strings slightly off tune, which normally works ,but not against the " icy " tuning of a " fake" piano.... I will have a look to remake the guitar part, but I do not know when. Thanks again. Cheers. Olivier.

Hello Paul, thanks a lot for listening. Sometime musicians say when I sing tunes with my guitar that the arrangement is inside the way I play the song, I don't know why, maybe it is the way I hear it. Cheers. Olivier.
