Tuning to A-442 in Sonar

Hi Friends, I'm not finding a way to master-tune a project to A-442 or other reference tunings such as A-444. I'm mostly using the z3ta so maybe it is tunable. Tried the MIDI plugin called "transpose" in my MIDI track but it's not responding, not affecting the existing music. So a second question: does the transposeplugin only affect new notes made after you plug it in or can it be used to affect existing notes? It seems it doesn't  tune to reference points such as A-442 anyway. Thanks ahead(((((((((((o)))))))))Blair

    I'm partial to a true 442. Four barrel carb, four on the floor and dual exaust! Nice one but nothing compared to a superbee!

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    I don't believe you can tune Sonar.   You will have to tune each individual soft synth that you load.  THen i'd suggest re saving instruments patches to save you the pain of retuning things everytime...

    To Tune an Instrument
    1. In the track you want to record your instrument on, right-click in the effects bin.
    2. From the menu that appears, select Audio FX > Cakewalk > Tuner.
    3. Click the track’s Input Monitor button. If you don’t click the Input Monitor button on the track
    the Tuner is patched into, you will not be able to use the tuner.
    4. With your instrument plugged into your sound card and turned up, play a note.
    The Tuner displays the intonation reading on the cents meter and the name of the note you
    played between the three arrows. One of the three arrows lights up, indicating one of the
    following:
    • Up arrow indicates the note is in tune.
    • Right arrow indicates the note is sharp.
    • Left arrow indicates the note is flat.
     5.     Adjust the pitch if necessary and repeat for the rest of the pitches you need to tune.

    I tune/play exclusively in Eb,as in,it's still A440[as far as easy understanding is concerned],but every string is 1 semitone flat,it makes using heavier gauge strings more tolerable,and it suits my little singing voice more.

    Fortunately,most softsynths,always have a "semitone" option,so it[so far] has never been a problem,but I have wondered,about those that use 442,or more common 445.

    For what it's worth,after toying with drop D,C sharp,C[or SOAD] C flat,I'll never go below Eb for the forseeable future,although,Eb,with the low Eb tuned down to Db is fun[Alice In Chains-"We Die Young"],but,after seeing how abysmal some of these ultra low tuned bands sound "Live",I ain't going down past the typical "one fret lower",that is loose enough for me.
