Turn off crossfades?

I'm getting automatic crossfades whenever clips overlap, how do I turn that off?

    which version of sonar do you have?  there's a setting in the OPTIONS>GLOBAL menu somewhere, but I don't remember exactly where.  if you can't find it, open the help file and search for crossfades and it will tell you there where to turn off "automatic crossfades"

    Options > Global > Editing tab > Clips

    toggle crossfades on/off is defaulted to "X"... if you just press X it will toggle them on and off-

    There's also a button in the toolbar that allows you to enable/disable automatic crossfades as well as change the slope characteristics of the crossfades.

    Don't overlap.  Place clips on separate tracks for superior control and happiness.
