Turn off window snap

Is there a way to turn off the Window Snap feature (the one where it highlights blue and then locks a window into the multidock)?
 
I continually find myself opening a vst and moving it, just to have it snap when I don't want it to.

    Hold down the CTRL key on your PC keyboard while dragging a window to keep it from docking.
