Turning the AC off ain't so bad as long as your mind is occupied

It's nasty hot and humid here in NYC at the minute so I've had my AC on full blast. But I turned it off to record some guitar, thinking that 5-10 minutes would be enough before I was drenched in sweat and throwing myself at the on switch again.

As it happens, I got so engrossed in recording this guitar part and playing with it in Sonar that my body just seemed to forget that it was hot. A good hour later I "came to" and realized that I was completely dry and that it didn't seem so humid after all. About 30 seconds after realizing this, I started sweating and wondering how in the hell I'd coped with the AC off. Mind over matter, I'm sure of it!

A/C?  I don't need no A/C until it starts to feel really hot to me!
(This occurs somewhere around 70 degrees F though.)

Or Dubai! Its touching 45C at the moment with some lovely damp air coming in off the Gulf. No way the AC is getting turned off.
