Tutorial Error, Bug, or User-error?

Hi all,

Using Sonar 4.02 PE and I'm going through the tutorial. Learing abou the "Track inspector" you're supposed to be able to change the patch of track via the inspector. Unfortunately this isn't working for me... left clicking on the patch name simply brings up a list of all the tracks and buses. Right clicking doesn't do anything.

The tutorial states:
"You can also change a track's patch in the Track/Bus Inspector, which is a vertically expanded version of the current track's controls at the far left side of the Track view. The current track is the one with the gold title bar. Whichever track's controls that you click becomes the current track. For example, to change the Piano track's patch, click the Patch button in the Piano track's Track/Bus Inspector and choose a new patch from the menu. The Patch button is just below the Bank button. "

Anyone able to accomplish this? I figure it'd be real handy, but I wonder if it was never implemented...

User error. Works perfect for me. And a right click always brings up selections anywhere in the Inspector view.

    Thanks, William (and LoopJunkie).

Good to know it's there for you. My track inspection doesn't look like William's.

Below the Velocity, we both have a square for midi fx, but under that while you have the port, bank and patch, mine immediately shows the M S R buttons! It just isn't showing the patch name. I was trying to click on the bottom "track" name like you thought.

Any ideas why it isn't showing up?

Notice the little icon with the arrow pointing to the right in the lower right hand corner? Is yours green?

I revised the pic to illustrate the
    icon Phrauge mentions.

Thanks a lot, guys. That was it.

When I saw the tooltip saying "sends" I didn't make the connection with output.

    Thanks again!
