I like em' both. Great mixes in this genre! Pro Channel rocks!...well the mixer has something to do with it too.

Both are nicely mixed. 1st one would be good at a dance place. 2nd is as you said a chill out. It would be nice to a video. Both are long. What would you like to do with these tracks? I'm just curious.

Well I listened to all 7:07 of Secrets and 7:01 of Santa Clara and thought my furry brain needs to be in an altered state to really appreciate these pieces. They sounded well mixed and translated well here. Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate the feedback and listens. I also appreciate your interest. I've been doing electronic music since ~94, and my best memory was playing live at a chill out room at a large party (rave) around 2003 and mixing one of my tracks into a set and seeing the crowd go nuts to my music. It was insane and the best feeling in the world. Unfortunately, life got in the way so I've taken a few long breaks from music within those years, but have had the time and resources recently to pick it back up. My ultimate music goal is to score a soundtrack (M83 - Oblivion, Zimmer - Inception, Daft Punk - Tron sountracks are my inspiration and heros) and to continue releasing tracks of this style. I suck at marketing and networking for music though, so I'll need to figure how to go about that part of it better.

Thanks! Yes, it sounds like you got the point, though I hope I don't just get classified into some druggy music hole. I think there are some aspects of it though that may only be noticed in the right state of mind, or at the very least a nice pair of headphones in the dark. While I was creating these I was trying to think of places and things. For instance, I live in the Bay Area and BART has a very familiar sound to anyone that has been around it, so, the sound that hits of each of the chord changes in "Secrets" was made to sound like a bart train flying by.

Just listened to both.... very nicely done all around. I think the first would suit its purpose well, but I preferred the second - great atmosphere and just repetitive enough to be ambient/trance-ish (ambitrance?) without being repetitive.

I took a listen to both - much preferred the beatless one. Particularly as I read you were interested in film scoring, what are the main sound sources you used for these tracks?

No risk from me I personally am not one to classify anyone's music.

Nice mixes, Secrets is a little "sizzly" and I think the bass could stand to come up a tiny bit, but the space is very good and the mix is clean. Santa Clara's mix sounds just fine. Regards, Dan
